Tell your representatives to obey the Zero Aggression Principle
Libertarians agree with the position you’ve just taken on the previous page. You don’t want to use government aggression to impose your personal preferences on others. You seem to agree with libertarians that we should solve social problems using peaceful persuasion and voluntary cooperation.
Most people don’t understand what you’ve discovered: There are people with conservative or liberal personal values who are nevertheless political libertarians. They can even work together, like friends. We’ve seen it! They can agree on a social problem, then solve it together through ingenuity, collaboration, and other forms of persuasion. No politicians in sight.
We’ve been looking for people like you! Here’s what we’re trying to accomplish…
We aim to flood Congress with more-and-more libertarian ideas. The ZAP (Zero Aggression Principle) should be one of those ideas: Don’t use politics to impose your personal preferences on others. Use persuasion instead. Hearing that lots of people support the ZAP will send Congress a powerful message — the libertarians are coming.
Use our letter below to tell your reps about the ZAP. You can put it in your own words if you want. Send the letter to Congress and we’ll email you an e-book called Mental Levers. This book presents powerful libertarian ideas in bite-size chunks. Each chapter is about 300 words long. We’ll also send you our email newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time.
