Tell your representatives to consider the Zero Aggression Principle

The power you give a politician to do things you want, is a power some other politician will use to do things you hate.

Don’t make that mistake. Instead, embrace the Zero Aggression Principle: Don’t aggress against others, personally or politically. In other words, don’t use politics to impose your personal preferences on unwilling people.

I want you to obey the Zero Aggression Principle

I live by the Zero Aggression Principle (the ZAP), which says "Don't aggress against others, personally or politically." You claim to represent me, so I want you to live by the Zero Aggression Principle too.

The personal aspect of the ZAP is something you already agree and comply with unless you're a sociopath. You don't use aggression in your daily life. You don't use threats and violence to impose your personal preferences on other people against their will. So all I'm asking you to do is extend that behavior to your work as a legislator.

When considering legislation always ask yourself this question: Does this bill aggress against Americans or defend them against aggression? If the bill defends Americans from acts of aggression then it complies with both the Zero Aggression Principle and the definition of legitimate governance provided in the Declaration of Independence. That means it will also comply with the Bill of Rights, including the crucial but neglected 9th Amendment. So obeying the ZAP is a necessary part of honoring your constitutional oath of office.

I will be encouraging you more and more to move in this direction. I hope to see you respond positively. You haven't heard the last from me on this issue.
