End business subsidies

Businesses should profit by serving customers, not by using political influence to pick your pocket. And this rules applies to all industries – from “Big Oil” to “Corporate Solar” and whether it’s Agriculture subsides or Export-Import Bank guarantees. ALL corporate welfare should end!

Subsidies drive up costs. Prices rise to absorb the subsidy plus whatever the market will bear. Heavily subsidized sectors such as housing, healthcare, and higher education demonstrate this in stark terms (see the chart).
