Downsize DC’s “One Subject at a Time Act” (OSTA)

OSTA [HR 2240] has been reintroduced by Russ Fulcher [R-ID].

As of May 1, 2019 it has seven co-sponsors. In the previous Congress, it had a record 28 sponsors. Our current, primary goal is 50 co-sponsors.

OSTA prevents Congressional leaders from clustering unpopular measures into sure-to-pass bills. Bad proposals should stand on their own!

This change will instantly slow government growth.

Tell your reps to re-introduce OSTA. Use our sample letter below, or personalize it. Your letter to Congress will be counted, for the same reason politicians buy opinion polls. They’re on the lookout for ideas that will help them get re-elected. That’s why OSTA has been repeatedly re-introduced, and had increasing numbers of co-sponsors. Send your letter now!
