The GOP tax bill repeals the penalty for not having health insurance. This effectively kills the Obamacare mandate that requires all citizens to buy health insurance. As a result, Obamacare as a whole will soon fall, and we may then have a chance to enact free-market reforms in its wake. This is sufficient reason on its own to support the Republican tax bill.
