Subject: Passing “Whistleblower” protection legislation
Working with coalition partners we’ve already helped to pass “whistleblower” protection legislation in the House. Now we need to push this legislation into the endzone in the Senate.
The federal government is so powerful, and does so much in secrecy, that we really need federal employees to feel secure enough to alert us to wrongdoing. This legislation would provide that security.
The Whistleblower coalition is holding a whistleblower protection week in Washington this week. We can add to their efforts by blitzing the Senate with appeals to pass the whistleblower protection legislation.
We have a chance to win this one, and now is the time to really press for the victory. Please take a moment right now to ask your Senators to pass this legislation. You can do so HERE.
