On today’s Downsize DC Conference Call (a radio show) Jim Babka will talk about the importance of the campaigns presently available at DownsizeDC.org. He’ll explain how we at DownsizeDC.org choose what issues we’re going to target, some of the “behind-the-scenes” thinking that went into each campaign, and take any questions you have about any of these campaigns.
There has been some confusion about the name of the show. The title was chosen because we wanted to encourage DC Downsizers to join the conversation – to ask the questions they have about our activities. In partnership with the Genesis Communications Network, we’ve made it easy to participate: The show is broadcast live on the Internet and there’s a toll-free call-in number.
The show is co-sponsored by Gun Owners of America (www.gunowners.org) and the Marijuana Policy Project (www.mpp.org). Each of them has an update segment, read by host Jim Babka, during the show. But the majority of today’s show is about YOUR DownsizeDC.org.
