Bills passed in Congress, December 2013

The following are the bills the House and Senate passed in December. The bills were passed by voice vote except where indicated. Roll call votes for the House are found here, and for the Senate here. The descriptions of bills are essentially taken verbatim from the Congressional Record Daily Digest (Index).

SAFE Act Confidentiality and Privilege Enhancement Act: Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs was discharged from further consideration of S. 947, to ensure access to certain information for financial services industry regulators, and the bill was then passed. 4 pages

Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium Land Transfer Act: Committee on Indian Affairs was discharged from further consideration of H.R. 623, to provide for the conveyance of certain property located in Anchorage, Alaska, from the United States to the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium, and the bill was then passed. 4 pages

Federal Permit Streamlining Pilot Project: Committee on Energy and Natural Resources was discharged from further consideration of H.R. 767, to amend the Energy Policy Act of 2005 to modify the Pilot Project offices of the Federal Permit Streamlining Pilot Project, and the bill was then passed. 2 pages
