The President wants to “help” current and aspiring homeowners. (http://shar.es/kMhLb). But doing this with money seized from others is immoral and criminal. You must oppose this, or you too will be immoral and criminal.
Likewise, your oath of office demands that you oppose Obama’s plan. You have no Constitutional authority to “help” ANYONE financially.
Reason also demands that you oppose this scheme. After all, similar policies caused the housing bubble.
You must further oppose this plan because it cruelly unfair. Why should the “government” favor homeowners at the expense of renters? Taking money from generally poorer renters to benefit wealthier homeowners is blatantly unfair.
Please be clear about this — you have no magic power to turn wrong into right. If a private company confiscated money to subsidize speculative loans, that would be a crime. It’s just as much a crime when you do it.
President Obama wants to make the Middle Class dependent on the Political Class. Well…
I DENY CONSENT! Instead, foster independence and personal responsibility. End ALL subsidies. Do this, or lose more of what little legitimacy you may still retain.
