Fact Sheet: Examples of Statist Hypocrisy

We will constantly add to this Fact Sheet as new examples become available.

Monday, January 11, 2011: The federal government is poised for the first time to make public thousands of complaints it receives each year about safety problems with various products, from power tools to piggy banks. Our comment: The State can give us databases of complaints against others, but not much in the way of transparency aimed at itself.

Monday, December 6, 2010: Unions for employees of The State strongly favor increased State involvement in personal healthcare. This will inevitably involve the creation of centralized State databases containing personal health information. Such a database is being designed for State workers, and surprise, surprise, they don’t like it.
