Is Constitutional Ignorance Really the Problem?

Tomorrow, September 17th, is “Constitution Day.”

If every American was taught the Constitution and understood it, would it make any difference? …would we Downsize DC?

Is more or better Constitutional education what’s required?

Do we need politicians to understand the Constitution better? Would that make any difference?

What do you think?

On today’s Downsize DC Conference Call, my weekly, Sunday afternoon radio show, I’d like to hear from you. The number for the show is 1(800)259-9231 and the email address is “CALL at DOWNSIZEDC dot ORG” (we write it out long-hand to reduce spam harvesting of this address – just hitting reply to this message will NOT get your comment in to the host in time for broadcast).

I’ll tell you what I think. My answer might shock you. I think the difference would be minimal.

Don’t get me wrong. I’m a big fan of the Constitution. But Constitutional ignorance isn’t our main problem. It’s not even the primary reason the government is so centralized, burdensome, and intrusive.

I want to give you what I believe is the key to everything — the key to Downsizing DC.

Please tune the one hour program at 4:06 PM Eastern (3:06 PM Central, 2:06 PM Mountain, and 1:06 PM Pacific) today (Sunday) to discover that key.

The show is heard in a few smaller markets, but the best way to tune-in is online at GCNLive.com.  You can choose any of the four channels on the Listen Live page.

We’ll also have a GOA Update, recognizing my other sponsor, Gun Owners of America.
