Also, check out James Wilson’s post on our blog about Senator Dianne Feinstein getting caught by surprise. Why was she surprised? She doesn’t read the bills she votes on. Here’s the money quote from the Senator:
“Unbeknownst to any of us, in March 2006, in the PATRIOT Act reauthorization, a provision was included that allows the Attorney General to appoint an interim U.S. attorney for an indefinite period of time.”
Now the Senator wants to undo what she did that she didn’t know that she did. I wonder if she will bother reading the bill that undoes the bill that now needs undoing?
Please send another message to Congress asking them to sponsor and pass the Read the Bills Act. Quote Senator Feinstein when you do. Tell them to get their act together. Let’s swamp them with messages.
