Tagging animals, trees, your kids, and grandma

First came REAL ID, and now comes the electronic tagging of animals and even trees. Sound strange? It is. And we’re about to launch a campaign about it.

Will your $1,000 pure bred dog need to be tagged? How about your gold fish? The trees in your front yard? Your kids? Grandma? How does all of this relate to international agreements like CAFTA and CODEX? Is there a corporate welfare element? We’ll tell you about all of this and more over the days head. But you can get started early by listening to THE POWER HOUR tomorrow morning on the Internet. If you do you’ll hear . . .

An intreview with Katherine Albrecht, author of “Spychips: How Major Corporations and Government Plan to Track Your Every Move with RFID.” Joining her will be Celeste Bishop to talk about the USDA’s National Animal Identification System (NAIS). We’re joining with www.NoNAIS.org to fight this latest building block in America’s embryonic police state. You can listen to the interview by clicking on www.GCNLive.com, and then Listen Live, and then one of the first two channels to get the free feed.

If have the time to tune in I think you’ll be glad you did. And terrified too.
