Four years ago, I met Bruce Shortt. Bruce, an attorney and homeschool parent, is a Southern Baptist. And each year at their annual meeting, his resolutions make news and move the denomination towards schooling independence. This year’s resolution is my favorite yet.
Bruce will be my guest today on the Downsize DC Conference Call (radio show) and we’ll talk about that resolution.
But Bruce is also the author of, “The Harsh Truth About Public Schools.” It’s not enough to criticize — many people need government schools, right?
Well, we’re going to put Bruce to the test. I want to know how more kids can be helped to “escape” the government schooling system.
