The Sunset of the State

You know something is fundamentally wrong.

Complexity is needed to preserve error. More and more complexity, even to the point of confusion, is required to sustain a flawed system.

Once upon a time, the Earth was believed to be the center of the solar system. Ptolemaic physics was very complex. Men like Copernicus and Galileo moved the Sun to the center of the solar system, and suddenly, the complexities disappeared.

Occam’s Razor, also known as the Law of Parsimony, can be applied to society as well.

In your heart, you know something is fundamentally wrong with our society. Even our system of government seems broken.

This video explains what that something is — the single issue that, once it is made central (like the Sun) the result is the moral society. Sure, properly ordering the moral universe won’t be Utopia, because Utopia was never an option. But the moral society is a place that is far more peaceful and way more prosperous, where people live much longer and in better health even in their later years. And in the moral society, they would get to do fun things about which we can only fantasize.

This video is an “Aha!” moment; an eye opener. What is so fundamentally wrong? Can you put your finger on it? Well, you’re moments away from discovering what it is in this nine minute video.
