What am I reading today? August 25 edition

“Give Me Your Tired, Your Poor… Arguments”

Immigration has become a major boogey-man recently.

It’s important to note that tougher laws in this area will expand government budgets, lead to boondoggles and special favors, result in the loss of civil liberties and freedom of movement for all of us, and it still won’t work.

That’s right. Prohibition doesn’t work. The government can’t keep drugs out of prisons. People prohibition won’t work either.

Jerry Bowyer with Tech Central Station presents an excellent piece pointing out some real flaws in the anti-immigration arguments.
