In other news, more than 2,300 messages were sent to Congress yesterday asking them to go slow on Speaker Pelosi’s plan for a 100-hour legislative orgy. That’s a good initial response, so apparently our fear that the subject line “No orgy!” would run afoul of spam filters was unwarranted.
Would the results have been different if the subject line had been “Yes orgy!”

INSIDE INFO: Babka complained to me yesterday about the overuse of the word orgy (suggesting “blitz” for word-variation purposes.) As you can see, I’ve corrected the orgy of orgy use in today’s message.
Yes, we’re getting a little punchy as Christmas rushes toward us like an out of control orgy. It’s been a long year. We maintain this view despite official government claims that 2006 contained just 365 days. We caution you, as always, to distrust official government pronouncements.
