Criminal punishment was supposed to be left to the states. The Constitution enumerates only seven federal crimes for private persons. Among these are piracy, counterfeiting, treason, and enslaving another human being. 
Yet now we have hundreds of thousands of people serving prison terms for unconstitutional reasons — many with no possibility of parole. And a year in prison costs more than a year in college. Take a step to reverse this…
