The following are the bills the House and Senate passed in February. The bills were passed by voice vote except where indicated. Roll call votes for the House are found here, and for the Senate here. The descriptions of bills are essentially taken verbatim from the Congressional Record Daily Digest.

Fair Sentencing Act: Senate passed S. 1789, to restore fairness to Federal cocaine sentencing, after agreeing to the committee amendment in the nature of a substitute. 12 pages

Tax on Bonuses Received from Certain TARP Recipients: By a unanimous vote of 93 yeas (Vote No. 61), Senate passed H.R. 1586, to modernize the air traffic control system, improve the safety, reliability, and availability of transportation by air in the United States, provide for modernization of the air traffic control system, reauthorize the Federal Aviation Administration, as amended, 329 pages

Health Care and Education Affordability Reconciliation Act: By 56 yeas to 43 nays (Vote No. 105), Senate passed H.R. 4872, to provide for reconciliation pursuant to Title II of the concurrent resolution on the budget for fiscal year 2010 (S.
