FDA threatens dogs everywhere

Will the FDA harm your dog the same way they harmed America’s waistline? Retweet

Today’s action: Make the FDA advisory rather than dictatorial

The FDA’s (Food & Drug Administration) dietary guidelines made America fat and increasingly diabetic. Will they now do something similar to our dogs?

Maybe you’ve heard the rumor that dog food might contribute to a heart issue known as DCM (canine dilated cardiomyopathy). Bureaucracies never let a potential crisis go to waste, because now…

The FDA is claiming the power to control dog food! They want to determine if grain consumption is good or bad for dogs, based on non-existent science. They’ve done no controlled-studies and are rushing to judgment.

This rush-to-judgment is exactly the deadly mistake the FDA made with regard to dietary fat and cholesterol in the human diet. So I must ask…

If foods and drugs must prove to the FDA that they are effective before they can be marketed, why don’t we also need proof that FDA regulations are effective before they can be imposed on us?

Downsize DC proposes something better…

Make the FDA advisory rather than dictatorial.

If you want medicines and dog food that has FDA approval, then you’re free to buy that kind. But the FDA shouldn’t have the power to limit you to only those products.

If you agree with this idea, use our system and ask for it…

Make the FDA advisory
