Today’s Downsizer-Dispatch . . .
This will be an exciting week. And the coming month should be one to remember. On Friday, we’ll explain why. But today I’ll explain the gameplan for the next seven days.
To begin with, we’re launching a new campaign on Thursday.
Second, I already have two interviews scheduled for this week as well (with Tony Macrini and Jerry Hughes). We’ll have details for you in upcoming Dispatches. Oh, and we’re working on nailing down a very big-name host for late next week.
But also, I want to take you back a couple of months. We announced we were going to place at least 1,000 people at the Capitol demanding Congress pass the Read the Bills Act. I think the number will greatly exceed that, because we’re going to schedule the “No Legislation Without Representation Conference” only after we’ve got 1,000 people committed to attend. That’s just over two people per Congressional district. And we’re going to organize locally, using MeetUp.com.
Well, the process begins exactly one week from today. We think we have all the bugs worked out, and we’re set to launch. Will you want to join a local MeetUp group? …or start a Meetup group? Do you want to participate in the “No Legislation Without Representation Conference” in DC? Maybe you can’t go, but you’d like to help someone else go. This MeetUp strategy will help us organize and achieve our goal. And we’ll get started next Tuesday.
And the good news continues to roll in. Last week, I told you about our lagging indicator; that we’d only raised $7,017 of the $14,000 necessary for the May budget. Well, you responded! We’ll list everyone who contributed in an upcoming message. As of right now our total is up to $10,401.
But that’s still $3,599 short of what we need to pay our May bills. Can you help us now by clicking here to make a contribution?

We’ll have yet another special surprise to unveil (one of those long-promised big projects that have had us jammed up lately), plus more new campaigns and more media, on top of what’s listed above. I’m very excited that some of these big projects will finally see the light of day. The growth continues, except for that pesky lagging indicator – our income.
