Saving Lives

A profit-making investment of $3-million could save the lives of 1 million children.

More than 1 million children die each year in developing countries due to contaminated water. Huge numbers of adults also die. But now, thanks to a cheap and profit making new drug it will soon be possible to save these lives.

This more-with-less innovation should be directly compared with this Cato Institute op-ed from Ian Vasquez on the complete failure of tax funded foreign aid to produce positive results. This report is summarized here.
