Most Americans dislike Obamacare. Republicans promised to repeal it. Paul Ryan’s bill does not do that. Passing it will be a betrayal. Instead…

Pass S. 554. This is the same repeal bill the GOP passed in 2016.

Then pass S. 222. That bill would give us better and cheaper healthcare.

Speaker Ryan said Republicans risk losing Congress if they don’t unify this week to force passage of his bill. But he’s wrong.

Weigh the political risks correctly. Doing little or nothing significant to repeal and replace Obamacare will boomerang on you and your party’s political future as well as doom us to a socialized healthcare system. Don’t screw this up.
